I hold a MSc in Advanced Computer Science from the University of Manchester 🇬🇧; I also completed a trilingual BSc degree at UniBZ 🇮🇹, with an exchange semester at the College of Charleston 🇺🇸.

While I have a solid foundation in backend development, my heart truly lies in the realm of full-stack engineering.
My skill set spans a range of programming languages like Java, Kotlin, Python, C# and TypeScript, as well as frontend frameworks such as React and Angular.
Lately I have been working a lot in the Node environment, using NextJS a lot with a backend based on OpenAPI and MongoDB. I have also been delving into UI/UX, learning how to design user interfaces with Figma and how to use Tailwind effectively.
FlexInvoice
As a new freelancer managing my own company, I needed to create customized invoices for myself and my collaborators. Dissatisfied with basic Word templates and wanting to avoid complex software, I developed my own solution: a React template that is filled with JSON data and used to generate PDF invoices using Puppeteer. I'm also working on extending the functionality by automating the invoicing process as much as possible.
All-Star Advent of Code
Advent of Code is a yearly event offering Christmas-themed coding challenges. After completing the 2020 event, I decided to tackle puzzles from previous years. Thanks to these I've gained proficiency in Kotlin and refined my problem-solving skills, and I'm quite proud of my shiny 450 stars ⭐. As a side project, I developed an API automating class setup for daily challenges, fetching input data, and updating my progress on the Readme.
Team toolbar plugin
I developed a plugin for XBar, a MacOS toolbar app, to streamline the monitoring of team processes, metrics, and web resources. The plugin connects to the company's servers to display Bamboo build and deployment processes, pull requests, release statuses, and more. My team now uses the toolbar daily, and I'm expanding its functionality to allow other teams to easily configure their own settings.
